We are on a mission to redefine privacy and utility in web3, and we’re looking for an experienced Developer Relations Lead to foster and grow a developer ecosystem that will allow the Foundation to succeed in our mission quickly and with agility.

The Role

The Foundation is seeking a talented Developer Relations Lead to provide a key link between the Foundation’s technical team and the Aleo developer ecosystem. The focus of this role is to interact with users, educate developers, and grow the broader community. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring that internal teams and external developers are aligned and benefiting from one another. 

You should have a passion for open-source software and community development. Your work will impact a global ecosystem of developers on the Aleo network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish content to educate and inspire developers on using Aleo's products and services

  • Be the face of the Foundation and manage critical interfaces with the developer community, including Core Developer Calls, Discord, and in-person events

  • Research and develop novel applications of the Aleo technology

  • Work closely with internal teams to align developer relations activities with business objectives and product roadmaps

  • Contribute to and maintain high-quality technical documentation and user guides to assist developers in understanding and utilizing our technologies

  • Build relationships with and advocate for developers within the Aleo ecosystem

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in engineering, with an emphasis on protocol engineering or full-stack blockchain development

  • Solid understanding of blockchain concepts and, ideally, zero-knowledge proofs and their applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in creating technical content

  • Experience in engaging with and growing technical communities

Salary & Benefits

  • $125K - $160K plus an equity package — determined through the interview process after a review of experience, knowledge, skills, as well as alignment with market data
