Aleo Staking Resources: Tools for the Community
Aleo mainnet is now live and staking is one important way the Aleo community can contribute to the crypto-economic security of the network. Whether you're planning to be a validator or a delegator, it's essential to know where to find the right tools and information. This post provides an overview of the resources available to Aleo network participants.
Note: These are third-party tools and resources built by independent members of the community. Aleo Network Foundation has not reviewed the functionality, security, or operations of these resources or tools, does not endorse them, and is not responsible for any use of them. You are solely responsible for your use of these tools and managing your relationship with these third parties, including entering any required contract terms.
Block Explorers
Block explorers are crucial tools for any blockchain ecosystem, allowing users to view transactions, blocks, and other on-chain data. More specifically, you are able to see a list of existing and active Aleo Network Validators. For the Aleo Network, several block explorers are in development or already available. It is important to note that this is just a sample list of currently active block explorers. More will be coming live as they are developed.
Wallets
Secure and user-friendly wallets are essential for managing your Aleo Credits and participating in staking. Here are some wallets being developed for the Aleo ecosystem. It is important to note that this is just a sample list of currently active Aleo wallets. More will be coming live as they are developed.
https://www.staking.xyz (though not a wallet, staking.xyz exposes native and liquid staking)
https://www.pondo.xyz/ (liquid staking)
It's important to note that these lists are not exhaustive, and new tools are continually being developed by the community. We encourage users to do their own research and choose the tools that best fit their needs and security requirements.
Community Curated Lists
For those looking to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Aleo tooling, keep an eye out for the upcoming "awesome-aleo" GitHub repository (https://github.com/AleoNet/awesome-aleo). This community-curated list will track various websites and tools developed for the Aleo ecosystem, including block explorers and wallets.
The "awesome-aleo" repo will serve as a comprehensive resource for the Aleo community, providing easy access to a wide range of tools and information. We encourage community members to contribute to and utilize this resource once it becomes available.
Reminder: Do your own research
While we aim to provide information about available resources, it's crucial to remember that the Aleo community doesn't endorse specific tools or services. Always conduct your own research, verify the authenticity and security of any tool you plan to use, and make informed decisions based on your individual needs and risk tolerance.
Stay tuned for more updates and resources to help you navigate the world of Aleo staking. Happy staking!
