Arc mainnet is live: USDCx on Aleo supports xReserve on Arc deposits from day one

Today the Arc mainnet went live and we're excited to be part of the ecosystem from day one, with Aleo’s USDCx bridge integrated at launch.

Arc is an open, EVM compatible Layer-1 built for financial markets and real-time money movement. It uses stablecoins as gas, starting with USDC, and launches with live markets for lending, borrowing, trading, onchain FX, payments, and tokenized assets. It improves the current user experience for digital assets, making it easier to onboard mainstream users and institutions.

Starting at launch, you can deposit USDC on Arc to mint USDCx on Aleo, with faster finality as well as lower deposit and withdrawal costs.* Ethereum remains fully supported, for anyone who prefers that network. Once minted on Aleo, users can shield their holdings, so balances, counterparties, and amounts stay encrypted by default.

The same integration opens a path to CCTP (Cross Chain Transfer Protocol). This allows users on other native USDC chains to move into private USDCx on Aleo just as easily.

Learn more about Arc at arc.io, then head to usdcx.aleo.org to start shielding your onchain balance.

* Time and fee estimates are not guaranteed. Actual results may vary.
